This is Steve who posed for a second time at the Lit. This turned out great with good proportions and likeness. Drawn on cheap white paper and pastel pencils.
I really enjoy the challenge of capturing the likeness of the model, the essence of their expression, and all of the nuances that makes them unique.
Most of the portraits on my blog are drawn during a 3 hour model sitting at the Literary Cafe in Tremont, Ohio. Anyone can sign up to be drawn by several artists who come in on Friday night.
